For the first time in a while I felt like people actually came out for the music instead of to socialize. The house show was mega fun. It was nice to play to a new crowd and with some new bands. Last night at the Eagles Hall was so fun even though not a ton of people showed up. I felt like it was the most solid show we've had in a long while. Everyone was listening to every band and dancing with noodles. Tubers were mega nice and said some things that really made me feel really good about what I'm trying to do. The Erns were an awesome band. Also super nice dudes. I think we gave them a good show to end their tour on. Language of the Cavemen blew me away. I'm just bummed not many people had shown up yet when they played. Their new CD is very impressive. We might do a split and/or tour with them this summer. Our set went well, but I am very ready to write new songs and be done with the old ones.<br /><br />With that, we are taking a few months off from playing shows so we can write a new album or something. We will record it in April and May up in Bellingham.
